Twitter For Musicians - { A Musicians Guide To Crafting The Perfect Twitter Profile }🐦 ✅

In this video, I give you my best tips on how musicians can create the best Twitter profile that's set up from the get-go for success. 🐦 ✅ Time and time again I hear musicians complaining about their music marketing not working, but when you go to their Twitter profiles they have a picture of Drake in the head section and picture of Lil Wayne as their Twitter profile file picture. These social profiles gain major impressions every day from fans. Looking at my profile Today in July 2018 my Twitter profile and Tweets have generated over 5538 impressions. That's a lot of virtual real estate that needs to be exploited to help your music promotion. 1) Tell People Exactly What You Do In Your Bio It's super important that you use both your pinned Tweet and your Twitter biography for specific calls to action. Otherwise, it's a complete waste of time. Ask yourself what it the goal of your music promotion on Twitter. Is to build an email list? To join your Facebook group? To support you on Patreon? To share your music? To follow you on a specific social site? To watch your video? If you want your fans to do this tell them exactly what you need them to do. 2) Share Your Outlook In Your Twitter Bio Youtube and Instagram kinda dominate the vlogging space so this might be your perfect place to shine. Twitter is meant for sharing links and information. Unlike Instagram and Youtube which are now controlled by algorithms to purposely leave you frustrated so you end up paying for ads? You could use Twitter video to carry out a vlog and pin it to your profile. Along with that, you can give a brief history of your music career in the bio section on Twitter. 3) Promote Your Custom Hashtags In Your Bio I am not really a good advocated for adding hashtags in your bio as it gives your new Twitter fans a chance to leave. But it might be a good place to promote your own custom hashtag, like the name of your song, the name of your concerts/tours, your band name, or your album. 4) Link to Opt-In Forum / {Pinned Tweet} This is my gem right here. I would strongly recommend that you use a link to your opt in page on your website so people can sign up to your email newsletter. This gives you more of a chance to warm up that visitor when it comes time to pitch them your products. 5} Promote Your Latest Music / Merch/tickets Maybe this one is a bit too rich too soon or too early but it's worth experimenting with. If you have a good Twitter report with your audience maybe adding a link to your merch might just work for some artist. Also if you have a deadline for concerts or tour dates it might just another place that you can remind your fans where to pick them up. 6) Link to other collaborators or blogs that have promoted you in the past So this one is self-explanatory, but it's a good relationship building with bloggers and playlist curators that you have worked in the past. By highlighting their services in a pinned tweet or linking their handle in your bio shows a great sign of respect and trust. Even if this is for people that you collaborated with it will them the confidence to work with you again. 7} Highlight Achievements {Even Small Wins} I like this one as it highlights social proof. I have dusted my website with social proof more than my Twitter profile. So I should experiment with my own advice here. Add blogs that you have featured within the head section on Twitter. Add the people you have collaborated with. Use vanity metric like follower counts on certain social networks. These all reinforce trust and leadership skills for fans to follow and to take your music career seriously. People want someone they can follow, so give them that person to follow. 8} Show That You Are Human {Picture & Personality} Sorry according to my girlfriend {Sarah}, I have the emotions of a stone. So I feel that this last tips a bit of cop-out. But it all depends on their demographic of your listeners. If you have a largely female audience, or if you sing softer rap songs like { Trap soul = Bryson Tiller / The Weeknd = Electro / RnB} it might be a good idea to promote your personalitly for your fans to become attached with you. Drake is the king at this and it works. Give me Drake's super fan female audience any day, and I'm set for life.....:-) Carry out little daily vlogs for all your social networks is a good way to promote your music. 🎹 My Beat Site 👉: https://goo.gl/oAGZrK 💻 Sub My Channel 👉: https://goo.gl/caxLh2 Free Beats / List Of Rap Blogs 👉: https://goo.gl/j7qRE7 Links and Site Resources 🔈 Drums I Use: https://goo.gl/eChUWp 💻 My Twitter Music Marketing Course: https://goo.gl/e4sm9q 📩 Email Marketing For Musicians Course: https://goo.gl/naXoZE Start A Website Course: https://goo.gl/sJUbui 🎹 Buy Rap Beats Beat Store👉: https://goo.gl/2hSiJ3 My G+ https://plus.google.com/+Thecorporatethiefbeats
