There are only a certain amount of hours in a day to be active. I don't want to be stuck on any social media network all day nor do I want to Tweet 24/7. So I came up with these simple tips for you to promote your music but, help you create a voice to your Twitter profile. Social media is there to engage with other active members. Similar to what music forums did a while back. But it's very easy to get sucked in by social media, so I believe that you can include some Twitter music marketing automation but still have a genuine voice. The main tool I share in the video is a tool called recurpost. It's similar to Buffer and Hootsuite, but I believe it has a better functionality and interface. You can take snippets of content from your blog or from the transcriptions from your vlog videos. Or if you have a number of vlog commentary videos, you can hire some one to transcribe the videos and create quote snippets from the audio. Pop these quotes into recurpost and sprinkle in a couple of hashtags so your Tweets will spread. You can also find other popular music blogs and find quotes about topics that you like. Quote that you share the same opinion with and tweak them to your voice. One of my favorite ways to get engagement from Twitter is by looking at sites like Quora and Reddit. Here if find similar questions and topics that my audience will resonate with. I tweak the questions and pop them into recurpost and schedule them to come out at a certain time of them weak. From time to time I will dive in to my Twitter profile and respond to people or answer the questions they have. The final tip is use the voice typing in Google Docs. Here I can just speak out my Tweets and hashtags, then pop these Tweets into recurpost to be scheduled for certain intervals during the week.
